Made-in-Maine documentary of the individuals who greet American troops home at the Bangor International Airport. By award-winning film director, Aron Gaudet from Old Town, Maine.
Beginning as a seemingly idiosyncratic story about troop greeters — a group of senior citizens who gather daily at a small airport to thank American soldiers departing and returning from Iraq, the film quickly turns into a moving, unsettling and compassionate story about aging, loneliness, war and mortality. 84 minutes. Sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank and MPBN.

She creates highly imaginative folk art fish from whatever's handy. ”Half the fun is finding the bits and pieces that can be combined into new creations,” she says. “It makes each piece different and each piece unique.”
